one of the enjoyable things i do every now and again is go through my old collections of tracks

tonight i’d thought i’d put together an an hour or so rock ish collection for purely personal reasons (possibly the fact that we had no net and i’m looking at tons of music but cant decide what to play may have been a factor) – the mission, gnr, pearl jam, pumpkins etc but then i came across one of my favourite artists: sinead o’ conner – and troy

when she did the family version of nothing compares to you i was happy (people do realise that nothing compares to you was originally a prince and the family track?) – when she recorded the track she did actually shed tears for real – when she had the balls to tear up a picture of the pope live on u.s. tv i loved it

the new audi avant 2009 in ibiza

given all the hype my regret is that i didnt take a photo of the audi’s around ibiza

maybe they shoudve let me loose in one and i could recreate what every other dickhead does here with a nice new fast car and wrap it round a tree and make everyone turn up to their wake – hopefully in the process not involve innocent other road users

the office is back.. woot

its been about 6 months since the office went off due to the WGA strike (which i fully supported) so to see the office and 30 rock back on telly is great

so now ive got to get the schedule back on track and work out when new amsterdam, big bang theory & the riches are on (30 rock & the office are thurs nights in the u.s.)

i was really pleased to rangers go through to the semi’s in the eufa cup but was gutted last night when getafe threw away their 2 goal lead in injury time – how’d that happen ?

btw i cant remember whether ive said this but the daily show and the colbert report are must see tv if you want to see american tv take the piss out of american politics and try and make people think – kudos to madeline albright the other night for making another appearance on colbert report and thanking him for what he’s doing to educate the american public – even if he does it by being sarcastic – which i fully support btw

Audi Avant 2009 in Ibiza

Since the world and his wife are blogging about the new audi avant 2009 which audi obvioulsy shipped out a ton of audis here to ibiza i thought i’d better join the bandwagon about the new audi avant being tested here in ibiza

since we lost our adsl yesterday afternoon for 24 hours (dont get me started) i was at a loss to do so i switched on ib3 which is the balearics local tv station and lo and behold there’s a feature all about the bloody new audi avant 2009 here on ibiza

since they never bothered to ask me whether i would like to test the new audi avant 2009 here on ibiza i can comfortably say its a piece of shit 😉

mind you it has shifted the news away from the after hours ban rubbish

finally

after losing our 10mb adsl yesterday afternoon and numerous calls to telefonica we got told this morning that it will come back within 48 hours – 48 hours is like someone cutting your hand off and asking you to type a bunch of memos

to say i was frustrated would be an understatement – to the extent that i actually took the laptop into the office late this morning and prepared to work from there over the weekend – something i didnt want to do

so i met up with a few friends at lunchtime and then got back just now, rebooted the router and bobs yer uncle, fannys yer aunt and we’re cooking on gas

now i have about 24 hours worth of stuff to catch up on
