16/04/08: So far to date:
The Enemy play at the opening of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 31st may 2008
Ibiza Rocks kicks off on 17th June until 9th September
The Pigeon Detectives play at the opening of Ibiza Rocks 2008 on the 17th June 2008
I know of a few other bands but i’m not allowed to say yet but the next annoucement will come next Wednesday (23rd April)
I’m trying to think of obscure hints without giving it away… there is a link from the Pigeon Detectives to a band who’s playing on the 1st July, I cannot think of anything to hint on another band other than they’ve played ibiza rocks before – other than a football reference a friend once made

update 18/04/08: Since i’m also involved in the ibiza now magazine and we go to print before next wednesday i’ve kindly been given the first set of bands and dates but are obviously embargoed till weds morning – suffice to say that i’m personally looking forward to the band playing on the closing party
update 24/04/09: i put on the ibiza blog the dates for the new set of gigs
pendulum are playing on the 9th and i’m really looking forward to seeing them – i had hoped (naively) that killing joke would play but having heard a lot of pendulums stuff i’m still looking forward to 9th sep
update 05/05/08: the hungover stuntmen will open the live lounge at the ibiza rocks hotel on the 28th and will be resident band until the 14th june, when underground heroes take over and then ok tokyo in july
update 20/05/08: One Night Only have been added to Ibiza Rocks on 24th June
update 21/05/08: Local band Peter Colours have got the support slot for The Enemy at the opening of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on May 31st
update 20/06/08: The Zutons headline 2nd Sep, Mystery Jets supporting the Wombats
update 9/07/08: The Streets August 19th, Dizzee Rascal on the 29th July with Sam Sparro
update 16/07/08: after conflicting press releases, the last date to be announced is manc band the courteeners supported by the automatic on the 5th august
Where is Ibiza Rocks held??? Going Ibiza 12th July! Any info would be cool cheers x
it’ll probably be at san rafael hippodrome – if not there’s always the free coaches they put on from bar m and the ibiza rocks hotel – other locations they used last year were pikes hotel and the old zoo (gala night)
