After 15 years working for PolyGram UK and Sony Music Europe I left the uk in 1998 to live in Ibiza.
Mr L K i think was started by a good friend (kosso) who reckoned i ligged a lot – (a bit rich since he benefited from all the free gigs, after show parties, passes etc…).
Its a play on the lizard king – aka jim morrison – ie mr lig king. i’m done with all that now but still love music. other than that its the net and sunshine… not much live music in this neck of the woods where i currently am…
(Sep 2007 ) This now has to be edited because of the Ibiza Rocks gigs – When I came back out here in Mar 2007 (after 3 years on the mainland) i thought that all that I had moaned about re live music in the past 8 years or so had fallen on deaf ears – i was wrong
The picture at the top is from one of a couple of visits i made to the maldives – if you asked me to choose between ibiza & the maldives i’d have to toss a coin… – but stick a live band in front of me and i wont care where it is….
