manics – journal for plague lovers – 11 out of 10

ive been listening to nme radio probably 24/7 since day one early last year and its extremely rare for me to interrupt it and play an album

iain baker had an interview with jdb and nicky wire this afternoon on nme radio and it became obvious to me that the new album goes back to the faster/yes era and since the holy bible is probably my favourite manics album i just had to listen to it

so apologies to nme, i turned off nme radio for the first time in yonks and listened to the album – i then had to listen to it again – its fuckin stunning – best manics album since holy bible – and i have loved their subsequent albums

its raw and basic and gorgeous

some some various updating is needed

havent blogged for a bit as have been busy with the main website and stuff so some updating is necessary

1. i’m going to rome to the champions league final – result – just got to find the money and book flights and hotel – pain in the right royal rase
2. my iphone ibiza app has been accepted in the itunes app store – i dont think ive ever been more happy – the irony is that i found out about it courtesy of someone posting on ibiza-spotlight forum – the forum ive been banned from so many times its untrue
