If your life was ruined by Facebook’s changes, you didn’t have a life. This week thousands of people freaked out because, after leaving MySpace for Facebook, their pages were changed to look more like Twitter. I wish that sentence wasn’t possible in the English language. How about complaining about something you’re actually playing for? Like AIG.

went to a meeting last night about lets (local exchange trading system) being set up here in ibiza.
Basically lets is a way of exchanging skills etc but without the need for money – for example if i want a haircut (unlikely if you know me) i can find a hairdresser in ibiza, have my haircut but i dont have to actually pay – my account gets debited by x amount of “eco’s” – someone then asks me to fix their pc – i do that and my account gets credited by x amount
i think its going to take some time to get off the ground but i think it can work here as a lot of people do this sort of thing anyway without realising it.
i was hacked off as many others when we lost the live feed on facebook. but as ive been using tweetdeck to get the status updates from today i thought i’d get my iphone facebook up to date as it has the annoying “you have 10 unread notifications etc” little red icon
i wondered since the iphone app is obviously not an online version i wondered if the live feed was still there inherent in the code – and it is
ive discovered tweetdeck which is bluudy brilliant – so now instead of checking my rss feeds, FB and using twitteriffic on the iphone for twitter updates – they are all just in tweetdeck – and so i’ll use the iphone for the facebook live feed – sorted….
i´m having to think hard about going back for the sonisphere festival back in the uk at the beginning of august. i maybe going to rome for the CL final but i want to go to benicassim as well so god knows where i’d get the money

got told about 2 bands last night – management say the 2 are wrong – not to keen on the second band
fookin ell! – successfully uploaded the binary to the itunes store and it wasnt rejected – a couple of previous binaries had invalid code signings but this version was accepted and is now “in review” now just have to wait for it to be okay’d and put in the itunes store

obviously i am not allowed legally to watch any english language tv as i live in spain.
no matter how you look at it is not possible by the letter of the law (i think) to watch anything other than probably cnn here in spain
i dont think i cant actually pay the rights holders of english language tv to watch their programme – subscription, online or whatever etc
this must be a common factor worldwide so why arent’t they putting bug ads and doing their own online torrents ?
