top gig – they’ve all been great so far but tonight was just a little bit “greater”

there’s a measure of gigs me and a mate use to tell how good a gig is: how much beer goes in the air….

there was a lot last night

i’m lucky enough to get a press pass so i get to go in the pit at the front of the stage and take photos – the downside to this is that when you get a really good gig you end up coming out drenched in beer – the guy taking video was not so lucky – he was taking a crowd shot when the next wave of beer came over and his lens got covered – oops…

next week i think we’re back at the hotel for we are scientists – but having said that it could be anywhere – it would be nice if it was back at pikes as w.a.s. played there last year – ironically under a full moon then (its a full moon here on friday)
