one of the things that got me about skype was having to have that headphone & mic thing or plug a “skype” phone into your pc

install fring on your iphone and you can use you mobile phone to ring anyone alse on fring for nada via voip – genius – two taps and their phone rings… so you can be in a free wifi cafe and ring anyone else who’s online via their iphone wifi and the call is just like ringing them via your service provider

just like skype but using your own mobile phone – if they are offline use the same phone and dial their normal number

i had to factory restore my iphone this afternoon after i think i abused it a little too much – but it only took about 30 mins to get it back up and running and unbroken etc – over the next few weeks i’m sure it’ll happen again but i’ll know which apps i need quickly and maybe sort out a way of immediate backups
