i beladately (ive never been a big fan of spell check) have discovered the joys of a wifi laptop – i cant do any work on it since it would be a nightmare to continually having to make sure what youre doing one one machine is the right one – so ergo we have crash at night with the laptop on my bed – have a wander around the net, lsiten to some radio in the background, check the stats or stream a film from my other pc

its grate…. (and yes i spelt it that way deliberately)

watched oceans 13 last night – or rather got bored halfway through because of the fancy sonderheim bollocks directing and so i’m going to have to be bored to watch it fully

but the funniest thing was noel’s take on whats going on with city – theres a great audio clip here

the ibiza google maps are starting to shape now and er thats all im going to say on that

music wise ibiza rocks starts next week and i’m in lig mode – its weird after all these years of banging on about live music and “indie/whatever/rock” here that its almost like being back in london

g8 summit and wtf

i read the front of the bbc website tonight since ive been hearing some angst between russia and bush and was curious to know what was going on – also i heard some stuff about g8 protesters

i was gobsmacked at the way it could potentially go and so went to look at cnn’s frontpage to see what their take on it was

nothing

nada

i thought maybe im missing something so i did yer average ctrl f: g8 & g 8 – nothing on the page – nothing whatsoever about the g8 summit, protesters or the fact that bush is about start world war fucking 3…

(if you do a search on “bush” on the front page of tonights cnn front page you get a link about 9/10ths of the way down the page – but its not a cnn article its from “our partners” – its an article on time called “Behind Bush’s Missile Defense Push ” / and thats it

go to cnn world and the top stories are all iran and iraq – bush’s argy bargy with putin is linked wad down under the tag: Bush chides Kremlin over democracy

when you read the bbcs take on it and cnn world edition take i fail to understand why this isnt front page headline stuff on cnn
