i finally got round to watching it this morning (now) – one word: class
theres been a load of episodes this series which ive really loved – i wasnt sure how theyd end it but there was a lovely twist in the end – i’d be surprised if there were any office fans who’d didnt get what they wanted from the final episode

in doing the site ive gotton a number of rss feeds going that give me feeds of blogs, articles etc that mention “ibiza!
i have come to the conclusion that i am going to have to delete these feeds as all i seem to be doing is shouting at the pc “oh fuck off you stupid wankers” everytime i see another blog saying “were off to eeeeeebeeefa, were gonna large it” etc etc – and i must be getting old because i HATE the way people do this stupid shortening words txt bollocks on the net – i could understand 5 years ago doing it on mobiles because of the cost, shortening texts etc but on a blog ? purlease etc …
and this is me being tame
went to my mates 50th birthday do at our friends thai restaurant last night – i could name drop and say that john moon of bambuddha’s gave me and my mate a free meal and everyone else had to pay – but i wont – obviously 
– then we went to jill of manumission pr fame (and other stuff) girlz skool night in the port afterwards – its so nice NOT to hear that fuckin crap repetetive music you hear everywhere else (never been a big clubbing fan) – then came back to town and ended up at another bar till whenever at some point this morning
today has been grim in terms of “the day after last night” and there’s footy on the tv tonight and tomorrow is the small matter of another footy match – sunday is pencilled in as a “im doing fuck all all day and sod it”
i’d forgotten how much i used to love this view – during the day its great to take half an hour or so and watch the car park – its so much fun watching people… Then as the sun starts to go down its another excuse to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by as the sun sets.. 6 years ago i’d be stuck inside – now i can sit on the balcony as the sun goes down and still work or watch stuff on my pc inside – love it.
i’m now officially wearing shorts – its taken awhile but now its got to the stage where its 1am and the balcony door is still open – i cant see it being shut now until late september
just watched last nights office – i have to admit that i only watched the first 20odd mins of last week – the first time in all the them i havent watched it all- but this week sums up the entire series – superb…
this week i remembered about planet rock and the fact they are online – so alot of this week has been a load of saxon, floyd, led zep, ozzy, iron maiden, rush etc – there is only so much of crap american radio ads i can take – next week will probably be back to the edge (stumbling upon perry’s interview the other day was great) – and then across to jonesy for the early evening shift
just worked out that it wasnt the last episode of the office – thank fuck – the only problem is that theres very little footy left, 24 & 30 rock are finishing – where is eureka, intelligence and the wire when you need them

i just wrote a huge long post and then forgot that the window had been used by google, so when i went back to the google window and clicked on a link it trashed my wordpress post
(pissed off about milan game, cheered by the weekend and am looking forward to weds night… and have been ridiculous busy with the google maps for the site – its getting silly – hopefully by the end of the week we’ll have mapped everything on the island)
anyway, just discovered satellite party – a big fan of farrell – the tracks he’s played on indie 102.1 the edge tonight have sounded really good
when i walked to the bar tonight to watch the game i was a bit apprehensive – but within 5 minutes i knew it wasnt going to happen – the bar ive watched all the footy in so far since ive been on the island has been idiot free – there were the few good usual peolple in tues night for the liverpool/chelsea game, theres always a few for most games but not exactly a load. so when i get in and in walk a bunch of part time so called footy fans who procede to argue and talk about tosh from the off i knew it was going to be a nightmare
“ive got a box at so & so ground where i spend 32grand a year, and weve beaten you 8 times in 15 games in the last 18 years” etc – absolutely meaningless statistics – we’re all trying to watch a game and all you hear is people talking (loud) crap about who won what, where and when and how many games weve got over you, when where, i can do this, if i was paid blah blah i could score etc etc – totally ignoring the game
ive seen virtually every live game on tv there in the last 2 months and yet not one of them have been in before (even though they live here) – utd games or anyone else. at one point about 10 mins in i was seriously considering going to another bar but the landord and landlady are good to us so i stayed
we were crap – we gave away the ball far too cheaply and in a cl semi final against milan you cannot do that – everyone was to blame – no one really had a good game apart from scholes & carrick – at least we didnt we pretend we were the better side who lost – oh well next year etc – man city should be interesting – i feel a spanking coming on and the arse to do chelsea…
watched “next” afterwards to forget about the game and it started interesting, got interesting and then.. well, i’m left with an empty feeling after seeing it – no spoilers but it was a trite ending.. its not the ending of heat which was a typical hollywood cant let the bad guy win but left me with the same *shakes head* feeling – very dissapointing
(2 cage films ive seen recently where it looks like the studios want to leave the ending open for sequels)
i cant deny i was happy that liverpool won tonight – whenever the discussion of whether i would rather play liverpool or chelsea if we get through tomorrow it was always going to be wanting liverpool for the simple reason that they (chelsea) would then be out of a chance for a trophy – no more no less (and the chance of 2 english teams playing a cl final and one of the oldest rivalries…. in front of europe….)
i cant believe morinho said this after the game:
