every now and again they change the ads as obviously they must realise that people get pissed off hearing the same crap day in, day out
however – they must think their audience are basically idiots given the way they present them
jonesey did an ad with the bloke from toyota as though its a random phone call, then a month later he has this ridiculous phone conversaion with a women whos been working at a vets and bought her car from the toyota place – its excruitiating
then theres the ais insurance ads, which if i lived in santa monica etc i would go out of my way to avoid simply because of the ads
the ads are done as though are “friendly” and not “ads” – oh fuck off – they are adverts – do em like ads so we can ignore them and get on with life
and i personally hate the way they do the ads in shows that make out that the presenters are making some off the cuff remark as though the audience doesnt know its paid for – if the ads work then i fear for the general state of intelligence in that area
and much as i love the sundays please stop playing the same fuckin track – theres a whole catalogue
and surf junkey jeff and joe escalante can fuck right off
dont use presenters/on air jockeys to front ads – it doesnt make your product anymore believable
